StartMeUp is a customizable program that empowers entrepreneurs to start and expand their business by providing education, resources and funding.

$tart$mart provides customizable financial literacy education to ensure that participants gain financial independence.

SAGE (Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship) is an international network that links high school students with opportunities to make the world a better place by creating and implementing innovative projects, and fostering youth entrepreneurship.

Ryerson Digital Media Zone was launched in collaboration with SIFE Ryerson as an incubator for entrepreneurs to innovate, collaborate and market their products and services.
Other Initiatives
Project Beyshick

Each year, SIFE Ryerson flies 20 First Nations people to downtown Toronto to learn business and career training skills, job shadow CEOs, and bring life-long connections back to their reserves. Participants get experiential learning opportunities and have the chance to compete in a $25,000 business plan competition.
Project Wildfire

Project Wildfire is a Toronto-based incubator that finds, sparks and supports youth business ideas that serve the greater good. With the right F.I.R.E. (Funding, Inspiration, Resources and Education), promising social entrepreneurs can receive up to $25,000 in funding, along with a full year of hands-on business mentorship through the StartMeUp Ryerson program.
Kenya

In collaboration with Alternative Spring Break, SIFE Ryerson is bringing the StartMeUp Ryerson program to the village of Dago, Kenya. By applying entrepreneurial concepts to local businesses and orphanages, SIFE Ryerson is helping Dago build an enterprising community with a sustainable impact.
iSTEM
Ryerson University, in cooperation with the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev), is proud to announce the Graduate Enterprise Internship program, iSTEM.
This unique initiative will help graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics gain real-world business skills and experience through internships and structured business mentoring opportunities with southern Ontario’s small- and medium-sized companies. The program also comprises a 3-day Bootcamp, during which industry/entrepreneurial professionals deliver state-of-the-art training in business and innovation to participants.
