ENT 726 Creating a Business Plan

This course teaches students a crucial skill in the field of entrepreneurship because a good business plan helps an entrepreneur obtain financing during the start-up stage of a firm. “When I took this class I learned that a business plan can be used as a tool for evaluating the potential success of the business and finding areas that need improving.” Students will learn what investors are looking for in a business plan and in the business idea itself. This course allows students to incorporate the synthesis of entrepreneurial learning to date and often some students come up with great business ideas which they can pursue in the future.
