Day 1: SIFE Ryerson Lands in Anaheim
SIFE Ryerson has landed in Anaheim!
We arrived in our hotel (which is a short walk away from Disney Land by the way!) and got settled. For many of the SIFE members, it was there 5-10+ flight but for a few of us, it was the first time they were flying in a plane…EVER! They had big smiles on their face!
Today, Sunday, October 10, there will be two main events.
Here is the schedule of Sunday, October 10 (EST)

Compared to the Regional and National competitions, SIFE World Cup teams host a Cultural Fair. There are 39 other countries being represented here from around the world. We’re looking forward to learning more about their food and culture.
With SIFE World Cup, you can watch the Opening Ceremonies live starting 9:30pm (EST) at http://sife.org/worldcup/live/. At the opening ceremonies, the presentation timings will be announced. Right after that, we’ll be doing dry runs, dry runs, and dry runs. Did I mention dry runs?
What makes this special is that there are more than 30 SIFE Ryerson members, more than a 100 Canadians and hundreds of people in Toronto cheering us on. We have a lot of support cheering our team on!
