Description
Run by students, for students, Start Smart is Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Ryerson financial literacy
Program. Start Smart positively changes the lives and financial decision making of our audiences by
delivering customized financial education programs to guide them towards financial independence.

• A Project Manager for @ High Schools delivers the Start Smart material to a high school class in
  which he/she is resposnsible to ensure that the students are benefiting from the Program and
  are making positive changes to their financial decision making.

Qualifications

• Have strong communication and presentation skills
• Set up meeting with the Vice Principal/Principal to talk about the integration of the Program
• Build relationship with the particular school and the teacher of the class
• Set up a timeline for the school year
• Get other Start Smart volunteers to help out with seminars
• Distribute pre/post‐test surveys and prepare all materials for seminars
• Responsible for making sure that the students are benefiting from the Program
• Collect all materials and metrics when needed
• Get in contact with the film team in order to get pictures and testimonials
• Report to the Start Smart Director and VP Project Management with the progress of the
  seminars as well as any issues
• Report tp the Start Smart Director for any funding that may be needed for the seminars
• Keep all receipts for reimbursement and file them in the SIFE office with the Project Manager’s
  name and the reason for the expense
